MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - 60th V-E Day anniversary galas will gather twenty thousand policemen in Moscow, Vladimir Pronin, city chief of police, said to a news conference.

Riot squads will see a spectacular reinforcement. Two thousand police officers plus six thousand Interior soldiers will come from other parts of Russia on his application. They will join Moscow colleguws to patrol the streets.

The city will not see any strong cordons, though Red Square will be cordoned off two hours before the galas take start, just as Poklonnaya Hill, in Moscow's west, with its World War II Victory Memorial.

The police are determined to rule out whatever hoodlum outrages by young political radicals. "I don't think they will be any danger on the red-letter days," remarked Pronin. If whatever breaches of public order do come, they will be promptly put down within legal limits, he reassured.

Moscow has no organized extremist youth groups at all, stressed the police chief.
