MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - German capital city's "Intercontinental" hotel hosted "Moscow 2012" Olympic bid committee's presentation in its conference hall on Sunday.

The event was held within the framework of the annual international SportAccord conference. The presentation was held by Moscow's mayor Juri Luzhkov as the chairman of Olympic bid committee "Moscow 2012" and Alexander Chernov, as the general manager of Olympic bid committee "Moscow 2012".

"The Olympic river" concept has been presented to the representatives of 100 international sports federations and the unions, assuring them of holding in the Russian capital the best ever Olympic Games in the Olympics history, according to Moscow authorities. Moscow's mayor has expressed absolute confidence of Moscow's readiness to hold Olympics and Paralympic Games in 2012. The unprecedented conditions for the international Olympic Family have been announced during the presentation on behalf of the Moscow Olympic bid committee.

If chosen hosting the Olympic Games Moscow will provide all necessary conditions for pre-Olympic training to the Olympic events international sports federations and unions. Moscow will also provide free-of-charge all necessary offices, special personnel and infrastructure required for the Olympic competitions run-up. The same employees will provide marketing, sponsorship, PR and other support to the international sport federations and unions.

According to the Olympic bid Committee "Moscow 2012", the construction and reconstruction work at Olympic venues will be completed by 2010, resulting in two years of free-of-charge engagement of sport venues by any federations ànd unions holding à series of pre-Olympic tournaments. From the moment Moscow becomes a capital of the Olympic Games 2012, Moscow's Olympic bid committee will guarantee the simplified and free-of-charge procedures of visa application for participating athletes, coaches, officials and any person accredited for the pre-Olympic events by international federations and unions.

For the first time in the Olympics history Moscow will offer training and conducting the Olympic draw ceremonies in the Big Kremlin Palace resulting in live TV and press coverage. The final decision on hosting Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012 will be made during the 117th International Olympic Committee session in Singapore on July 6th, 2005.

Besides Moscow, London, Paris, Madrid and New York are also competing for the right to host the 2012 Olympics.
