MOSCOW, April 2 (RIA Novosti) - According to brothers Klichko's official website, Vladimir Klichko will take on Cuba's heavyweight Eliseo Castillo, 29 in a match scheduled for April 23 in Dortmund, Germany. The appropriate contract was signed by the parties on March 25.

The reason why the match had not been announced earlier was the fact that Castillo had no German visa. By now, that problem has been successfully resolved.

According to Vladimir, the younger of the Klichko brothers, there were no problems in reaching an agreement with the Cuban boxer as the Ukrainian puncher was scheduled to appear on the ring on April 23 by contract (the name of his opponent was yet unclear at that moment).

At present, the Ukrainian is busy preparing for the match at his base, with the preparation session to be over by April 16. On the next day, he and his crew of assistants would set off for Dortmund.

"This fight is very important for me," Vladimir told journalists. "In case I win, I'll be able to re-claim my right to the world heavyweight title and challenge Chris Byrd, the current IBF champion.

Eliseo Castillo made his debut on the professional ring in 1996. To date, he boasts 18 wins (14 by KO) and one draw. At the same time, he has not yet fought any truly dangerous opponents, excluding Michael Murer, an aged WBA and IBF heavyweight ex-champion, whom he took on in his latest match.
