DOLLARS/BARREL IS RIGHT #
MOSCOW, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - Chairman of the Duma committee for economic policy, entrepreneurship and tourism Valeri Draganov thinks right the cabinet proposal to calculate the 2006 budget from the average oil price at 34 dollars/barrel.
"I think that the government-proposed figure should remain", Mr. Draganov told RIA Novosti.
"Despite the sustained rise to 50 dollars/barrel, I don't think it will be the tendency for the next year", he noted.
Simultaneously, he said that budget indicators "may always be adjusted in process".
"I've always criticized the government, which undercuts the price of oil. Today I'm ready to agree with it", Mr. Draganov said.
