MOSCOW, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - From April 20 to 25 Moscow will host the DetectiveFest 7th international festival of detective movies. Its former title is Law and Society.
"We do not need romantic images of criminals. We should persuade people to turn for help to the law enforcement bodies," festival's general producer Yuri Mityushin said at a press conference on Wednesday.
The festival's program includes about 100 films and TV programs from 14 countries, contest shows, master-classes, seminars, meetings, etc.
The festival will focus on international cooperation between filmmakers and involvement of law enforcers from different countries in the creation of detective movies.
The participants will also discuss the world record of detective movies distribution, and for the first time ever, insurance of filmmaking.
