RUSSIANS DETAINED IN MOLDOVA SENT HOME

CHISENAU, March 6 (RIA Novosti, Vladimir Novosadyuk) - 100 Russians detained on Saturday in Moldova have been sent home.

The Moldova Railways officials told RIA Novosti, "at 23:20 local time, three carriages with Russian citizens were attached to the Chisinau-St. Petersburg train at Bulboaka station.

The arrival of the train is expected on Monday, March 7.

On Saturday, 100 Russian citizens were detained at Bulboaka station. According to an official from the Russian Embassy in Chisinau, "local policemen seized passports of all 100 Russian citizens. Asked by the Russian consulate officials about the reason for the detention, the policemen stated, "...they failed to explain the aim of their trip to Moldova."
