"A number of Kyrgyz non-governmental organizations have voiced their intention to hold a so-called exit poll. The mission of observers from the CIS and the Kyrgyz CEC unanimously think that such polls have no legal base under them, are unreliable, and instead of an objective information means turn into an instrument of influencing the public consciousness in favor of this or that candidate," said Mr. Rushailo.
In his words, this becomes more evident "when the results of vote count at each polling station in real time mode with the use of the GAS Shailoo system are posted on the central election commission's web site."
Vladimir Rushailo said that on the day when elections are held, February 27, 218 registered observers from the CIS mission would visit polling stations in 69 constituencies out of the total 75. In his words, there will be no CIS observers only in 6 hard-to-reach mountainous regions where the number of voters is small and won't be able to influence the outcome of the elections.
