GROZNY, February 20 (RIA Novosti) - In Chechnya, an Ural truck carrying military personnel was blown up by an anti-tank mine.

"The explosion occurred in the evening on February 19 in the Achkhoi-Martan district near a village of Bamut. An Ural truck carrying a group of federal soldiers was blown by an anti-tank mine set up on the side of a road," reported a source in the Chechen Interior Ministry.

As a result of the explosion, a serviceman was wounded and hospitalized.

According to the same source, interior ministry operatives established identities of two suspects in the bomb explosion, which had previously destroyed a vehicle carrying the OMON operatives who were heading from the Tyumen region on an assignment for Chechnya.

"During an interrogation of two previously detained participants of an illegal armed formation, operatives established that they had participated in the September 2002 demolition of an Ural truck carrying the OMON officers from the Tyumen region," the source reported. He reminded that as a result of that incident, one police officer died and another was wounded.
