"It is very important for us that the world's leading company in the sphere of computer technologies is working over the development of a Georgian version of the Windows operational system," said Mikhail Saakashvili.

"This means that any Georgian citizen possessing a PC will be able to work with the Windows system not in English but in his or her native tongue, which is a major relief making personal computers more accessible," said the president.

Mikhail Saakashvili also drew attention to the fact that the number of languages into which the Windows operational system has been translated is not that big and Georgian will be among them.

For his part, the Sergius Viza noted that the Windows Georgian version was one of the first moves of the company which, enjoying the support of the entire region, had thought little of any profits. We are to continue working likewise, he added.
