MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - A unique incident occurred in the Novosibirsk 777 casino where a woman gave birth to a son. Two casino administrators and a pie-seller helped her in labor, Vecherny Novosibirsk newspaper reports.
"At 11.30 a woman entered the casino and fell down without saying a word. At first we panicked. There were no medics among our clients. We knew only general information about delivery. Suddenly someone called a woman selling meat pies outdoors. She had been a midwife once. We undressed the woman in labor and I found a clean towel. A boy was born in half an hour. There were many curious idlers but we did not let anyone in," said casino administrator Ivan Kazakov.
Soon an ambulance arrived and took the woman and the baby to the hospital, he added. The mother and her son are feeling good. The newborn is healthy.
