MOSCOW, February 3 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow's Arbitration Court has upheld the bailiffs' decision to charge Yukos 2.7 billion rubles ($1 is 28.01 rubles) in execution fees on the back taxes for 2001.

Hence the court has turned down Yukos's appeal.

On September 2, 2004, the Federal Tax Service announced its decision to charge Yukos over 119 billion rubles in back taxes for 2001, including 40.6 billion charged by the court.

On October 11, Moscow's Arbitration Court reduced the fines to 39.1 billion rubles. On November 16, the Court of Appeal confirmed this decision, and it came into force.

Bailiffs launched executive proceedings on the case and ruled to charge Yukos 2,7 billion rubles in execution fees on the fine.

Yukos found this decision illegal and appealed against it but without success.
