KIEV, December 26 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine votes Sunday in the runoff of the second round of presidential elections. At 8 am local time (9 am Moscow time), 32 thousand polling stations opened at various locations around the country. 37.61 million people are registered to vote.

Yesterday, Chairman of the Ukrainian Central Election Committee Yaroslav Davydovich told journalists that all polling stations were supplied with voting ballots that have 13 degrees of protection.

Mr. Davydovich also reported that the first results would be announced at 11 pm local time (midnight in Moscow).

Ukrainian voters will have to choose between Victor Yuschenko and Victor Yanukovich for the third time during this year's presidential run.

Voting is conducted abroad, as well. About 1,000 Ukrainian citizens have already cast their votes at a polling station set at the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow.

"The turnout is good. By 10 am, 880 people have voted," Chairman of the election committee at the polling station # 77 abroad Anatoli Besgrebelny told RIA Novosti.

He said that 17,175 Ukrainian citizens have been registered at the station, and 74 were expected to vote by absentee ballots.

The polling station in Moscow has eight voting cabins.
