* A Proton-K carrier rocket will be launched from the Baikonur space center to put into orbit three GLONASS (Global Orbiting Navigation Satellite System) satellites (16.53 Moscow time).

* The new presidential election runoff will be held in Ukraine. The presidential candidates are Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovich.
BISHKEK
* A delegation of the Russian Audit Chamber led by its chairman Sergei Stepashin will go to Kyrgyzstan on a two-day visit. A joint session of the Russian Audit Chamber's board and the council of Kyrgyzstan's Audit Chamber will be held. The Russian delegation will also observe the activities of the Russian military base in Kant and living conditions of its personnel.
