EXTRA SECURITY MEASURES AT INFORMATION CENTER OF UKRAINIAN CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION

KIEV, December 25 (RIA Novosti's Viktor Demidenko) - The Ukrainian Central Election Commission (CEC) has taken measures to provide safe and stable functioning of its information center and the Vybory (Elections) information-analytical system, CEC chairman Yaroslav Davydovich told journalists on Saturday.

According to him, expert thoroughly examined the system and changed the protection system and passwords. The passwords were divided into three parts and even Mr. Davydovich does not know them.

The information on the course of the elections will be refreshed on the web site of the Central Election Commission every 20 minutes. Moreover, the commission will be receiving the results by telegraph.

The telegrams will have the governmental status. This is an additional security measure, Yaroslav Davydovich noted.
