ONLY TWO BIDDERS REGISTERED FOR YUGANSKNEFTEGAZ SALE

MOSCOW, December 19 (RIA Novosti). The Joint Auction Commission responsible for the sale of Yuganskneftegaz has begun its work.

Among the five members of the Commission spearheaded by chief of the Russian Federal Property Fund Legal Department Yuri Savvin are head of the Russian Justice Ministry Moscow Directorate Alexander Buksman and head of the Russian Federal Energy Agency Sergei Oganesyan.

Valery Suvorov, Head of the Sales Department, Ural Office of the Russian Federal Property Fund, will be in charge of the auction. According to RFPF official Vladimir Zelentsov, Suvorov has been engaged in the preparation of all past RFPF's open auctions.

Representatives of two bidding companies are present at the Yuganskneftegaz action, Zelentsov said. He declined to enlarge on the names of the two companies that occupied two bidders' places of the three provided in the action room.

Four companies have applied as bidders for the Yukos subsidiary.

As it was revealed recently, upon the decision of the commission Gazpromneft and Baikalfinancegroup were permitted to participate in the auction.
