BEIJING, December 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has arrived in China on Sunday.
"We shall consider bilateral issues and the situation in hotspots of the world. The purpose of this meeting is to promote Russian-Chinese strategic partnership," the minister said.
Mr. Ivanov is to hold talks with Chinese counterparts and participate in the 11th intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission for military-technical cooperation.
Sergei Ivanov is convinced that the commission's session "will be a success as usual and will end in new perspective topics".
