According to him, Mr. Kudrin's meeting with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury John Snow focused on Russia's repayment of the debt to the Paris Club ahead of schedule, Russia's participation in the G8 and some aspects of Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
Moreover, Alexei Kudrin held consultations with Algerian Finance Minister Abdelatif Benachenhou on the settlement of Algeria's debt to Russia. Mr. Kudrin pointed out that there were no problems in this sphere.
In addition, the Russian Finance Minister met with his Afghanistan's counterpart Ashraf Ghani. They discussed the settlement of Afghanistan's debt to Russia.
Alexei Kudrin also met with Morocco's Minister of Finance and Privatization Fathallah Oualalou.
