MOSCOW, December 10 (RIA Novosti) - Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of Spain, has promised to celebrate the 60th V-E Day anniversary in Russia.
"I'll come here again, May next, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of World War II victory," he said while meeting ethnic Spaniards in Moscow.
The Premier promised to offer for consideration a bill on money aid to the offspring of Spanish emigres who came to the Soviet Union in the 1930s and 40s. "I hope parliament will approve it. The law may enter into force even by next March," he reassured.
