BANGALORE (India), December 5 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of Infosys company and spoke with its young staffers on the issues concerning the Russo-Indian cooperation in the sphere of information technologies.

At the beginning, the Russian President accompanied by the company's staffers, toured the facility, which occupies a territory of 76 acres.

Following the tour President Putin had a conversation with young workers of the company. "So, this is a small team, which works when others rest, sunbathe and swim," the Russian President said smiling. Vladimir Putin congratulated the young people with the opportunity to work in this center. "I know that the Indian government, as well as the whole country, are proud of you," he said.

The Russian President also answered the questions of the young staffers. In particular, they asked about the possible volume of the Russo-Indian cooperation in the sphere of information technologies.

"I'll not venture to name the exact figures but considering the rapidly developing economies of our countries I can say that the volume can be enormous," the Russian President answered. "We can join our efforts and be more effective. We will certainly develop a serious competition on our markets, so you better keep practicing," he noted smiling.

The young people also asked the Russian President about his vision of the global development.

"The present-day possibilities have great potential and it's important to use them for the sake of people avoiding various problems," Vladimir Putin said having added that "today the global development is very contradictive." However, if there will be more countries like India, the more influence they will have in the world and the more stable perspectives will gain global development. "And a lot of that depends on you," President Putin noted.
