KIEV, December 4 (RIA Novosti) - Thousands of opposition supporters have surrounded the building of the Supreme Rada, where a plenary session is to be held.

In the morning the opposition leaders called on their supporters to march from Independence Square to the Supreme Rada.

The parliament, which has been recently working nonstop, is to discuss the amendments to the law on presidential elections in order to hold new voting in the presidential runoff on December 26.

The protesters demand that the MPs dismiss the Central Election Commission and immediately adopt the amendments to the electoral legislation. The nearby streets are crowded with people and traffic is blocked.

Today the opposition supporters are relatively calm. They seem to be tired of yesterday's celebrations of the Supreme Court's decision to invalidate the election results.

Opposition supporters wearing orange go out onto the central Kiev streets and head for the premises of Ukrainian parliament.
