KIEV, December 4 (RIA Novosti) - Viktor Yanukovich is not going to resign from his post as Ukrainian Prime Minister on the Supreme Rada's demand.
"Yanukovich will keep his post until the [presidential] decree on the Prime Minister's dismissal is signed," the premier's press secretary, Anna German told journalists in Kiev on Saturday.
According to her, the Supreme Rada's decision on his dismissal is illegitimate.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister keeps fulfilling his direct duties, the press secretary noted.
The election headquarters of Viktor Yanukovich has resumed full-scale activities today, she added.
In her words, Mr. Yanukovich will participate in the new presidential elections in Ukraine and intends to win although yesterday's decision of the Supreme Court was made under great pressure.
Anna German did not specify who would head the election headquarters.
