The system of information and marketing centers is meant become a basis of electronic commerce and coordinate the CIS states' information, marketing and consulting activities.

The aim of the system is to provide market entities with necessary information about producers, suppliers and consumers of goods and services, offer marketing and consulting services, particularly in the sphere of the analysis and forecasting of market conditions, and intermediary services related to licensing commercial activities and executing sales transactions.

The system will be used by government authorities and legal entities of different property categories.

According to Mr. Yemelyanov, the first stage of the work supposes the creation of a "core zone" of the system on the basis of information and marketing centers. It is possible that other CIS countries will join the work, the official said.

The proximate session of the CIS' heads of government will fix the timeframe of the creation of the "core zone". Cognitive Technologies has suggested that a seminar should be held for national customers under the program to exchange their ideas on the matter and discuss ways to form a uniform interactive center on the basis of their achievements, Mr. Yemelyanov reported.
