KIEV, November 27 (RIA Novosti) - The Ukrainian Supreme Rada (parliament) has expressed mistrust in the Central Election Commission "in connection with improper performance of its duties". This decision was backed by 270 deputies, well-above the 226-vote threshold, at the extraordinary parliamentary session dedicated to the political situation in the country.

Moreover, the Supreme Rada offered the Ukrainian President to submit to the parliament his recommendations concerning the resignation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) members by December 1, 2004.

The deputies also proposed the President to make a list of new CEC members having coordinated it with parliamentary factions and groups.

The Supreme Rada decided to form a provisional commission to investigate violations during the presidential elections by November 30.

This final decision was supported by 307 deputies, while nobody voted against.
