160 UKRAINIAN CITIZENS VOTED IN ST. PETERSBURG

St. PETERSBURG, November 21 (RIA Novosti) - By 11 am, 160 Ukrainian citizens came to the polling station in St. Petersburg, reported election committee officials.

The polling station for Ukrainian citizens willing to participate in voting for the Ukrainian president has been opened at the Ukrainian General Consulate in St. Petersburg.

6,167 people were included in the main registration list - Ukrainian citizens officially registered at the Ukrainian General Consulate in St. Petersburg. The additional register includes 607 people, who are not on the consulate permanent registration list.

In addition, Ukrainian citizens can vote using their official absentee tickets.

The polling station in St. Petersburg opened at 8 am and will stay open till 8 pm. Official observers monitor the voting procedures at the station. It is guarded by a reinforced detachment of police officers.
