MOSCOW, November 11 (RIA Novosti) - The parliamentary commission for the investigation of causes and circumstances of the terrorist attack on Beslan believes that no hasty conclusions should be made.

"It is necessary to thoroughly consider the situation in order to prevent terrorist acts in this regions and across Russia," commission's chairman, Federation Council member Alexander Torshin told journalists after the session.

According to deputy chairman Valery Dyatlenko, next week commission members will go to work in North Caucasian republics. The commission will hold a visiting session in Rostov-on-Don on November 20.

"Meetings with people and victims are the key task of the commission's work in the region. The commission members will explain the situation to the victims and try to calm them down," Mr. Dyatlenko said.

In his words, the commission listened to a report by Regional Development Minister Vladimir Yakovlev, who was Russian President's authorized representative to the Southern Federal District during the tragic events in Beslan, and Deputy Prosecutor General Vladimir Kolesnikov.

The Russian Prosecutor General told the commission that the only terrorist-survivor will go to trial by the end of 2004 in North Ossetia, Alexander Torshin noted.

After that, the commission will disclose more details of this separate case to the press, he added.

According to him, the Prosecutor General's Office satisfies all claims of the commission concerning the investigation materials.

Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office will consider all the commission's documents connected with the terrorist act in Beslan and select those materials, which the investigation can be interested in, Mr. Torshin said.
