MOSCOW, November 11 (RIA Novosti's Alexander Kovalev) - Experts of the leading space powers will discuss the creation of the GEO global space information system in late November in Canada, deputy head of the Russian Aerospace Agency Georgy Polishchuk told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

According to him, this routine meeting will be held prior to the space summit scheduled for February 2005.

"The summit will make a decision on the concept of the formation of the GEO global information system," Mr. Polishchuk noted.

In his words, "GEO will comprise space and earth objects".

"The purpose of its formation is global information exchange via various satellites belonging to different countries. Member-countries will have free access to the system," he added.
