TALLINN, October 27 (RIA Novosti's Nikolai Adashkevich) - Vandals violated the monument to Soviet warriors in Rakvere (Estonia's east). They drew a Nazi swastika on it.

According to the press service of the local police, the monument was unveiled in the Koidula park on the communal grave of Soviet soldiers killed in World War II.

A series of vandal acts against monuments to Soviet warriors has been performed across the country since early September when the Estonian government ordered to demolish a monument to SS men in Lihula. The monuments to Soviet soldiers in Lihula, Tuudi, Haapsalu, Kuressaare, Kaarma, Ansekula, Imara, Surju, Parnu, Suure-Kambja, Mihkli and Katela have been violated.
