RUSSIA'S BLACK SEA FLEET SHIP WILL CALL ON MONTENEGRIN PORT

BELGRADE, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - The Azov major landing ship of Russia's Black Sea Fleet is arriving, on Saturday, in the Gulf of Kotor, an inlet of the Adriatic Sea, offshore Montenegro.

The visit is timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the establishment of consular relations between Russia and Montenegro and the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Yugoslavia from the nazis.

Montenegrin officials are expected to visit the Russian warship. Besides the vessel will be open to ordinary residents of Kotor. Andreyevsky Flag (St Andrew's Flag) music group of the Russian Black Sea Fleet will give a concert in the city, while a military orchestra will march up the ancient city's streets.

A football game between the visiting crew and a team of Serbia & Montenegro's navy is also central on the visit programme.
