The main aim of the event is to allow enterprises of the region to get familiarised with advanced Scandinavian technologies, explore possibilities of purchasing new equipment, and discuss chances of attracting Swedish capital to implement local investment projects and programmes.
"Businessmen of Sweden in their turn are particularly interested in contacts with timber, transport and shipbuilding enterprises of the region," it was noted at the press-service.
Thirty heads and representatives of 23 large Swedish companies will take part in the Business Days. Representatives of the consulate-general of Sweden in St Petersburg are also arriving in Arkhangelsk, as well as senior officials of the Swedish Foreign Ministry, the Swedish Trade Council and the customs, and representatives of the municipal authorities of northern Sweden.
The events are sponsored by the regional administration with the Arkhangelsk regional association for foreign economic activity, the Swedish Trade Council and the consulate-general of Sweden in St Petersburg.
