MOSCOW, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - A new public movement Russia-Anti-terror is formed in this country.

Prevention of terrorist acts, control over public places, educational measures and exposure of violations in the work of these or those organizations are the goals of the new movement, its leader, popular actor Aristarkh Livanov said at a press conference on Friday.

The movement is also led by Anatoly Bozhkov, member of the expert council of the Russian ombudsman.

The new movement is to form a network of public reception offices where people can call or address personally, reads the statement on the movement's formation.

Other goals of the movement are to establish public control over people arriving from other regions, having criminal past or leading an immoral life.

"This is neither political nor human rights movement. All we need is peace and order," the document says.

Speaking at the press conference, Anatoly Bozhkov stressed that "international terrorism is a network and we should form a public network to combat it".
