MOSCOW, September 27 (RIA Novosti) - Auction bids have been made for the LUKoil government block, says Vladimir Zelentsov, official spokesman to the Russian Federal Property Fund.
"More than one bid has been made, so the auction will be held," he told Novosti-but refused to specify the bidders and their number. It takes a threshold two bidders to have an action.
The fund has scheduled the event for Wednesday, September 29, added our informant.
Applications were accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., August 30 into this day. A petroleum mammoth block of 64,638,729 shares is coming in one lot at 0.025 roubles apiece, total starting price US$1,928 million.
