WASHINGTON, D.C., September 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and the USA are in duty bound to track down terrorists in their dens, and eliminate them wherever they are, said Donald Rumsfeld, US Secretary of Defence, as he was visiting the Russian Embassy.
A world war on terrorism is on, and Russia and the United States are allies in that war. It is their duty to track terrorists down, bring terror networks to light, and pressure terrorists to harass their fund-raising and travel from country to country, said Mr. Rumsfeld.
While at the embassy, he made an entry in its book of condolence with the atrocious terror act in Beslan, North Ossetia.
