RUSSIAN-NATO COUNCIL FOR EMERGENCY ANTI-TERROR SESSION

MOSCOW, September 6 (RIA Novosti) - The Russia-NATO Council is gathering for an emergency session at an ambassadorial level in Brussels tomorrow to discuss joint anti-terror efforts, announced Mikhail Troyansky, deputy director of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs press and information department.

The same information reached Novosti earlier on the day from the NATO press service. An emergency Council session is necessary with a chain of terror acts in Russia, said Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, NATO Secretary General. The conferees will sum up the session with a joint statement, expects the NATO press service.
