BESLAN, NORTH OSSETIA, September 3 (RIA Novosti) - 346 rescued school hostages are in four hospitals of Beslan and Vladikavkaz, republican capital, not far from the fatal town. It is hard to say now in what state of health they are, reports Ismel Shaov, North Osset Interior Ministry chief of PR.
He cannot specify the number of victims, either. The toll of lives is certainly great. A precise figure will not be available before rescuers clean the gym debris. Many bodies are presumed buried under a collapsed ceiling, says Mr. Shaov.
