KALININGRAD, August 30 (RIA Novosti-North West's Anatoli Nilov) - Russia's enclave on the Baltic sea, the Kaliningrad region will sustain losses from Lithuania upping prices on railway transit of fuel and lubricants along its territory, acting governor Oleg Shlyk told RIA Novosti on Monday.

"The road department of Lithuania has notified the regional administration that on September 3 it increases by 15 percent the railway transit tariffs on its territory. This will inevitably increase prices on housing and utility services because many boiler rooms in our region fire fuel oil", he added.

"Prices on gasoline and diesel fuel may jump at once", he said.

"This Lithuanian 'present' is particularly unpleasant now that a heating season is ahead. Anyway, we'll suffer great losses, which are wholly out of place", Oleg Shlyk stressed.
