CHARITY CYCLING RACE IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM DOWN'S SYNDROME FINISHES IN MOSCOW

MOSCOW, August 29 (RIA Novosti) - The Krasnaya Ploshchad ("Red Square") charity cycling race in support of children suffering from Down's syndrome finishes in Moscow on Sunday.

This year the cycling race includes cycling-lovers from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Save Russians, the race involves participants from France, the Netherlands, U.K., and the U.S.

The event will culminate in a small race of children suffering from Down's syndrome.

The main sponsors of the charity action are the Federal Agency for Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and the Federation Council commission on youth and sports.

The race started on August 26, and by finishing on the Red Square, the racers will have covered about 150 kilometers of Moscow and Moscow region's roads.
