MURMANSK, August 15 (RIA Novosti) - A representative of the royal house of Norway, Princess Martha Louise of Norway, is arriving on an official visit in the Murmansk Region (a Russian region on the Kola Peninsula, washed by the Barents Sea) on Sunday.

In the city of Kandalaksha she will participate in the ceremony of opening the family children's home Children's Village - SOS.

As officials of the polar Region's administration said, the Children's Village - SOS family home in Kandalaksha is already the fourth family children's home of this kind in Russia built on the money of the World Fund Kinderdorf Internazional. Three other such children's homes operate in the Moscow, Orel and Leningrad Regions.

"The lion's share of the money for setting up the Children's Village - SOS in Kandalaksha was raised as donations in Norway and was then remitted to the World Fund which, together with the government of the Murmansk Region, decided to set up a Children's Village in Kandalaksha," director of the Children's Village Igor Solovyov explained.

The Village in Kandalaksha consists of 12 cottages in which 35 children together with their foster-mothers who are Children Village's staffers live now.
