MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti's Olga Lipich) - Alexis II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, has finished short medical treatment and a rest cure, which his doctors ordered His Beatitude, and is back to his close schedule, the Moscow Patriarchate department of external Church relations said to Novosti today.
The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church will receive, August 9, a large delegation of the foundation, Children of the New Era, on his work residence in Chisty Lane in Moscow's heart. The busy Monday envisages more contacts. Thus, the Patriarch will meet staff workers of a Serbian publishing house. It will shortly put out an unprecedented album of Moscow churches and monasteries photographed from a helicopter.
On August 10, Russia worships the miracle-working icon of Our Lady of Smolensk. That day, Patriarch Alexis II will serve a liturgy at a cathedral consecrated to it in Moscow's renowned Novodevichi Convent.
