MOSCOW, JULY 23 (RIA Novosti) - Seven candidates continue vying for presidency in the Chechen republic. On Friday the Chechen election commission has wound up registering claimants to the supreme post.

The papers of the last two candidates - Yaragi Mamodaev and Adam Edilov - have been considered today, the commission told RIA Novosti by telephone. Their registration has been rejected because most of the subscription lists in their favour have been found invalid.

Thus, the election bulleting has these names - Alu Alkhanov, Vakha Visaev, Abdula Bugaev, Mukhumd-Khasan Asakov, Movsur Khamidov, Umar Abuev, Magomed Aidamirov, the election commission said.

Earlier, registration was rejected for Malik Saidullaev and Zura Magomadova; two claimants - Sergo Khachukaev and Sultan Aiskhanov -- declared leaving the election race.

The Chechen election commission said that on July 27 free radio and TV air-time will be divided between presidential runners; canvassing in Chechnya will begin on July 29, precisely a month before the presidential election.
