CHISINAU, July 21 (RIA Novosti) - Moldova does not think current arrangements of Transdniestria settlement negotiations are adequate, and so suspends participation in them up to August 1, announced Vasile Sova, Reintegration Minister.

The Transdniestria administration is hindering secondary schools with Moldovan for tuition language, and the use of Roman lettering. If this harassment goes on, Moldova will bang the door on the talks for good, he warned.

Moldova expressly calls the unrecognized republic to ensure, also by August 1, free travel and commodity and service circulation, and bring safety area developments back to normal. If Transdniestria fails to comply, Moldova will suspend certifying the produce of all Transdniestria-based industrial companies, the major Moldovan Metalworks being no exception. Customs services will also be suspended as regards commodities offered by Transdniestria's economic partners.

An unprecedented attack on schools and other such outrages ought to be ruled out-yet they do happen. That is why the Moldovan top does not think the present negotiation format is efficient at all, stressed the minister.

He was addressing international mediators-Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE, and Transdniestria spokesmen, as they gathered in Tiraspol, Transdniestria capital, today for settlement negotiations.
