MOSCOW, July 19 (RIA Novosti) - Representatives of the Russian and Chinese Foreign Ministries held consultations on relations with the European Union on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry's press and information department told RIA Novosti.
The head of the pan-European cooperation department of the Russian Foreign Ministry and director general of the European department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry discussed the condition and prospects for the development of Russian-Chinese-EU relations in connection with the EU enlargement and transformation.
"The sides had a constructive discussion of the results of joint work to ease tensions concerning the EU enlargement," the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
