* The second round of the elections of Vladivostok's mayor will be held. Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Maritime Territory Vladimir Nikolayev and Nikolai Markovtsev are running for this post. Former Mayor Viktor Cherepkov, who took second place in the first round, was removed from ballot by the Vladivostok district court. He used the advantages of his status of a Russian State Duma deputy during the election campaign.
