MOSCOW
* Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in a session of the Lawmakers Council (for cooperation between the Federation Council and legislative bodies of the Russian constituent entities). The session will focus on the division of authorities between the federal, regional and local bodies.
* Russian Security Council Secretary Igor Ivanov will hold talks with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mian Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri in the Kremlin. After that, the Pakistani minister will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
* Moscow will host a regular session of the Council of Justice Ministers of the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine are EurAsEC observers).
* The Central House of Journalists will host:
- the presentation of the book "The protection of rights of conscripts and alternative servicemen" published by the staff of the Russian obmundsman;
- a roundtable entitled "Let us preserve mother's life" timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the international Cairo conference on population and development and the World Population Day marked on July 11.
* The two first arbitrary courts of appeal will open in Moscow and the Moscow region. Chairman of the Russian Supreme Court of Arbitration Veniamin Yakovlev, Russian President's authorized representative in the Central Federal District Georgy Poltavchenko, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, governor of the Moscow region Boris Gromov and other officials will participate in the opening ceremony.
KRASNOYARSK
* Russian President's authorized representative in the Siberian Federal District Leonid Drachevsky will preside over a joint session of the district's council and the council of the Siberian Agreement Association. The session will focus on the 2005 federal draft budget and the formation of inter-budgetary relations.
TIKHVIN (LENINGRAD REGION)
* The act on the permanent keeping of the wonderworking Tikhvin Icon of the Holy Virgin in the Tikhvin Assumption Monastery will be signed during the celebrations of the icon's return.
BAKU
* Chairman of the Russian Audit Chamber Sergei Stepashin will pay a routine visit to Azerbaijan.
EDINBURGH
* The final resolution to boost fight against the 21st century's challenges will be adopted on the closing day of the 13th session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
