WOUNDED RUSSIAN CARRIED IN MOSCOW FROM BAGHDAD

MOSCOW, June 19 (RIA Novosti) - The Il-76 airplane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry carrying Anatoly Korenkov, wounded Interenergoservis official, landed at Ramenskoye airport (the Moscow region) at 16.23 Moscow time, the ministry's aircraft service told RIA Novosti.

Russian Anatoly Korenkov was badly wounded on May 26 when the bus carrying Interenergoservis officials was attacked by unknown criminals. Two people were killed and eight wounded as a result.

Most Interenergoservis officials were evacuated by the Emergencies Ministry on May 27-28 and June 4. However, doctors prohibited to carry Anatoly Korenkov, who was in the coma.

On Thursday medics of the American military hospital allowed to carry the patient in connection with improvements in his health. Anatoly Korenkov was operated by American doctors for three times in Baghdad.

The doctors gave a written permission to transport Korenkov who is in stable condition now.
