The music became sort of illustration to Russian President Vladimir Putin's address to the organizers and participants of the Day of Russia in Germany.
According to Deputy Speaker of the State Duma (the lower house of Russian parliament - Ed.) Artur Chilingarov who aired the document, the address reads, "The Day of Russia is widely celebrated in Germany, a country with which we have tight relations of partnership and cooperation."
The Russian President wrote in this address he was confident that "our joint work will keep on serving the interests of Russia and Germany, and the security and economic progress in Europe and the [entire] world."
Chilingarov said that the president, as he handed him the address, had emphasized that, remembering past "controversial relations" between Russia and Germany, "we have to realize that the modern youth of our countries bears neither guilt nor responsibility for what was going on in the past, that Russia as well as Germany have changed, and that it is up to the youth to do everything [possible] to prevent a tragedy that Russian and Germany went through from happening again."
