MOSCOW, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak has arrived in Moscow on an official visit.

The visit is organized on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and will last till May 29, the Kremlin press service reports.

One of the topics for Mubarak's talks in Moscow will be the fight against international terrorism. Earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry's official spokesman Alexander Yakovenko said that Moscow was studying the President's proposals to hold an international anti-terrorist conference.

"Generally Russia supports any effort to fight terrorism. Certainly, the central role in the process must belong to the UN, which has done a lot to unite international community to fight against the evil," Yakovenko pointed out.

Mubarak's visit to Moscow may lead to an increase of Russian investment in the country, Mohamed El-Ghamrawy, chairman of Egypt's General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, said in an interview with the Egyptian news agency MENA.

Investment inflow is encouraged by the political and economic stability in Russia and the attention of the two leaders to development of bilateral cooperation, he pointed out.

In compliance with agreements already signed, Russia's investment in the Egyptian economy is to exceed $16 mln, while only half of the sum has already been invested, El-Ghamrawy said. Russian companies invest in 12 enterprises in the oil, chemical, construction, metallurgy, agriculture and tourist sectors.

Business centers of the two countries that are to open in Moscow and Cairo may play an important part in their investment activities, he pointed out.
