KREMLIN HOSTS NOVOSTI PHOTO SHOW

MOSCOW, May 25 (RIA Novosti) - RIA Novosti photo correspondents will display their achievements in an exposition that opens in the Kremlin today-for a first time in the post-Soviet years.

The ninety works on display, by ten photographers, show a great many aspects of the Russian everyday routine outside politics, says the Novosti Photo Service.

The photos are all of an unusual size-horizontally arranged strips, each 60 centimetres high and 270 long.

The show is named, "1/60", with sixty photos of that exposure made all within one second to reflect the entire vast country's life. The other thirty exhibits accompany this profoundly original display.

The Kremlin exposition over, it will travel all over Russia. Possibly, it will appear in other cities that also have mediaeval citadels-such as Kazan or Novgorod the Great.
