Mottoed, Noospheric Harmony, the Russian exposition will have five sections. The Russian Wealth will give a glimpse of forests, water resources and mineral deposits. Man and Space offers trailblazing technologies and space effort blueprints, and A Culture Mosaic, a millennial retrospect. Man and Elements demonstrates pioneer emergency forecast and relief knowhow, and rescue technologies. Last but not least, Energy shows a variety of power sources-in particular, latter-day hydrogen technologies.
The Man and Space section will certainly come as the greatest public attraction. Spectacular among the exhibits will be a replica of the C XXI, the world's first reusable tourist spacecraft to carry two passengers and a 300 kilogram cargo on an orbit 200 kilometres high.
Of no smaller interest will be a reusable one-stage space system. Its breakthrough hydrogen engine-brainchild of the Moscow-based Tupolev R&D bureau-leaves no polluting combustion products and discarded stage debris. Sightseers will be welcome to enter the life-size dummy and get to the controls of an imitation device to be made for the EXPO.
