MURMANSK, May 19 (RIA Novosti) - An international industrial show, Kola Partnership, opens tomorrow in Murmansk, on Russia's Kola Peninsula, and will run through May 22.

This will be the sixth such show, officials in the Murmansk regional government say. With each passing year, the number of its participants increases and the geographical area they span becomes wider. This time around, the event is expected to bring together over 120 industrial companies from the regions surrounding Murmansk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vologda, Samara, and Kaluga, as well as from Ukraine, Belarus, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Scandinavian companies will account for about 30 percent of the participants. The Swedish delegation alone will feature as many as thirty-five companies.

One of the specialized exhibitions within Kola Partnership 2004 will showcase products and services offered by building firms, ranging from the development of large industrial facilities to the decoration of small residential spaces.

A whole number of workshops and individual company presentations will be held on the sidelines of the show, organized by the Murmansk regional government and the regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
