MOSCOW, May 12 (RIA Novosti) - The high prices of oil enable Lukloil to work without the attraction of additional resources, Vagit Alekperov, president of the Russian oil and gas giant, told reporters on Wednesday.
Asked by journalists, he said at the same time that Lukoil continues preparations for the issue of Eurobonds.
As soon as the project to place Eurobonds is ready, it will be submitted for consideration by the board of directors, Alekperov said. He did not specify at what sitting - in the end of May or after the annual meeting of share-holders.
As regards the planned placement of one-rouble bonds of six billion roubles (one dollar approximately equals 29 roubles), Alekperov said that they should not be placed now because of the unfavourable market situation.
